Landscape workday and Dress-Down Sunday will be May 7, starting after the first service.
Come dressed to help!
We need people to clean out dead wood, mulch the beds and the path to Burbank Road, and the Memorial Garden. We will repair the fence on the south side of the drive. We need to divide some perennials and replant them, and prune and shape the shrubs. We need to prepare the ground for planting trees and shrubs at the east end of the parking lot where trees had to be removed.
Please bring your:
gloves, water bottle, string trimmers, rakes, brush hog, chain saws, pitchforks, pruners, shovels, hammers and Quick-Crete. Please tell Ruthie if you can bring a Garden Tractor, Trailers for brush, and a Rototiller.
We will gather for lunch for the workers after the second service at noon, in the library. Please bring a dish to share.
Please adopt a bed! We have big and little beds, which await a loving touch. All these people adopted beds last year: Karen Skubik, Helen Ostermiller, Elaine Strawn, Sue Gross, Laura Moore, Leah and Emma Gochnauer, the Gochnauer Family, Susan Heady, Margo Curl, Carol Noel, Ruthie Sewell, Tim Breiner, Kat Gibbons, Tabi Barbu. Thank you!
Please come and give us some direction. We want to give the beds a helpful start. Please tell Ruthie if you are unable to work on your bed this season, or email: RESewell @ aol.com
