welcome visitors!
Here at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Wayne County people of diverse beliefs and backgrounds come together for mutual support and fellowship as we follow our own paths in search of truth and meaning. We celebrate the full participation of everyone without regard to age, gender, sexual orientation, race, or any other category of exclusion. We invite you to come visit us and see if our open-minded, liberal religion feels right for you.

You'll find some in our fellowship have been life-long Unitarian Universalists but most have come into this faith from other religious traditions.

We have about 190 members, with about 150 adults and children attending each Sunday.

On Sundays you'll find our members attired in everything from business wear to more casual clothing. Our “come as you are” atmosphere extends beyond mere clothing, as we really do welcome all seekers.

Our Sunday services are a great way to begin to get to know us better. Our services focus on a wide variety of religious, philosophical, personal, and social issues. We honor the wisdom of the world's religious traditions and often include readings from the sacred texts of one or more of these traditions in a service.

Our Religious Education program—known as Sunday School in other faith traditions—is designed to give our kids the tools they need to make up their own minds about life's big questions. Exposure to the stories, beliefs, theologies, and practices of the world's religions is an important aspect of this spiritual development program.

Fall through Spring we offer two services--at 9:00 am and 10:45 am--each Sunday morning. Each service is approximately one hour in length. During the Summer months we offer one service at 10:45 am.

After the service we encourage you to enjoy coffee and social time. It provides an opportunity for you to meet with the members and friends for possible questions and conversation. Members and friends are happy to meet with you, to share impressions and experiences and to welcome you to a fellowship that encourages each person’s unique spiritual journey.
